Large-bore ram for class-leading gripping and crushing power. KXG21 and up have hydraulic end damping to prevent impact jolt as grab fully opens.

Mechanical end-stops protect ram and timing bars from overloading when fully open.

Strenx® 700 body - Twice the strength of most structural steels to maximise lifespan.

Internal hoses protected by the grapple body.

Extreme-duty, heavily gusseted Hardox® 450 claws.

Integrated check valve prevents ram opening without operator input even if pressure is lost.

Review of the Klou Non-rotating 5-Claw Grapple

We have been using the Klou timber grab for the past year, mounted on a Kubota 2.7-tonne machine hired from Express Hire in Dorset.

It has been used on many tasks involved in our day-to-day jobs, including harvesting operations, site maintenance, and clear up of large-diameter fells. I can say we have had absolutely no problems with it. It has made light work of the trickiest of situations, from stacking of produce to aid extraction, to raking debris for chipping or burning.

It is a strong, robust grab and its width makes it stand out from other grabs available.
